I still think I wasted 7 years of my life instead of spending most of that college money on getting a CompTIA A+ Certification and getting a job as some technical gofer. Ah well, at least I can still do it, right?
Right??
Anyone???
A B4 for your time. Gotta wait a few more years or so.

I spent four years in college getting a business degree. Followed by 5 years in financial companies. Realized it was a dead end. Went back, got my tech certs and I’m making 30% more than I did in finance with only a couple years experience.

I spent 7 years and $40K CAD to get a BA and BEd and I’ve been graduated for 4 years and still don’t have a full-time teaching position, or ANY position for that matter. Hell, I still work at the local Tim Hortons part time just because the schedule is at least reliable and not random like sub-teaching.
I do work at the local library as a part time clerk and tech. guru and I do work on computers / do tech tutoring on the side, but it’s hard to get a job with those because I have no certification in either...
Trust me, I feel your pain...

It’s called a Blitzen Legacy. You’re welcome.

degrees and certs are handy for getting in the door, but once you get into the corporate world you’re better off with the B4 legacy than a A+ cert :D
